Tokwawan, Hong Kong
Small geometric forms of buckets, windows, ventilation fans, garbage bins, clutter, metal canopies, household, and industrial wastes, assemble a scene of urban decay. By researching the history and development of Tokwawan, a series of works was created under the influence of Hito Steyrl's "bubble vision" theory. The focus of the project was on our orientation and how we view and respond to our spaces.

Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong
Sham Shui Po is infamous for its vintage walk-up buildings and the density of its population. The project was about roaming in the district with spontaneity and reciprocating the "happenings" in the neighborhood. The notion of going “Under” and “Over” the social space, and experiencing the life of the working class as a visitor was valuable. Alber's weaving thesis was applied in the metaphor of bodily movements, as well as mediations of the old buildings.
Deep Bay, Hong Kong
An exploration of boundaries and landscape. The landscape of Lau Fau Shan, the mountain line along Deep Bay, had become the main scene reflecting the border between Hong Kong and China.
